Summer School

GHS summer school begins on June 1, 2015, first semester ends June 16th.  Second semester begins June 17th and ends on July 2nd.  For questions regarding summer school or to report an absence, please press extension 235.   


For students currently attending GHS, please call extension 234 or 237. 

For graduates, please call extension 231.

The following information is required to process your request.  Name while attending GHS; year of graduation; date of birth; phone number and address.   Processing fee is $5.00.   The graduate must make the request and must provide proof of identity.  Records cannot be requested by a parent.   Picture ID is required.  For diplomas, please call Jostens at 714-744-2899.

Important Reminders from GHS


Reminder for students and parents that GHS has a tutorial period available period from 8:05am until 8:30am for students to get extra help in their classes.  All students are expected to access the tutorial period if they are earning a "C" grade or below, have missed a portion or all of a class period or need extra assistance from their teacher.

Scholarship Opportunities

The following scholarship opportunities are available to GHS students.  If you have questions about these opportunities please contact Asssitant Principal, Jamie Norell at ext. 204.

Rotary 4 Way Speech Contest

The Rotary 4 Way Speech Contest awards up to $5,000.00.  Students can access the application through the link or in Mrs. Norell's Office. Applications are due by Friday, January 27, 2015 to Mrs. Norell, local competition is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, 2015.  Click here for information regarding the contest.

Dan Stover Memorial Rotary Music Competition

This music competition is open to high school seniors who live or attend school in Glendora.  Students will perform using a musical instrument for a maximum eight minutes (minimum of four minutes).  Applications are due to Mrs. Norell's office no later than Friday, February 20, 2015.  The local contest will take place on March 9th, with additional competition levels occurring in April and May.  Grand prize is $1,000.00.  Click here for the application and see Mrs. Norell for more information.


ACSA Oratory Contest

Region XV of ACSA is holding a speech contest in the GHS Event Center on February 12, 2015 at 3:00pm.  The three minute speech will focus on "Keep Calm and Lead On".  Click here for more detailed information regarding the contest and please sign up in Mrs. Norell's Office by Friday, February 6, 2015 if interested.
