Graduation will be held on Wednesday, May 25 at Citrus College Stadium at 6:00 p.m.  Tickets are required for admission.  Every senior student will receive 8 tickets during Senior Check-out on Thursday, May 19.  Additional tickets may be purchased on Monday, May 23 and Tuesday, May 24 in the Student Store.  Tickets prices are $5.00 each [cash only].   Parents, please open the Senior Letter 2016 below for detailed information.

No balloons or signs will be allowed into the stadium.

  • Tickets for disabled seating may be obtained through Mr. Spengler's Office Office [ext. 235]. 
  • The gates open at 4:30 p.m.
  • Questions regarding graduation, please call extension 230.
  • Lifetouch Panoramic Pictures   Lifetouch will be taking three different photos of your graduate. 

    1)  Senior "16" Photo -This will be taken in April.  The seniors will be in the formation of the number "16".   Cost $20.00

    2)  Senior Cap and Gown Panoramic Photo-  This will be taken on May 25 at Citrus College during the rehearsal.  Seniors will be seated in the bleachers of Citrus Stadium.   Cost $25.00

    3)  Graduate Diploma Photo  This photo will be taken on May 25 as the graduate receives his/her diploma.  A proof of the photo will be emailed to you at the email address that the student provides GHS at the Senior Assembly on [date to be determined].  The cost of the photo will be determined based on your order.

Important Reminders from GHS


Reminder for students and parents that GHS has a tutorial period available period from 8:05am until 8:30am for students to get extra help in their classes.  All students are expected to access the tutorial period if they are earning a "C" grade or below, have missed a portion or all of a class period or need extra assistance from their teacher.

Scholarship Opportunities

Foothill Credit Union 2016 College Bound Scholarship  

Foothill Credit Union will award  $2,000 scholarships to select Money$mart and MoneyBound members who are pursuing a college education.  Applicants must be entering their freshman or sophomore year of college.  If chosen, the award will be paid directly to the recipient on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Foothill's Annual Meeting.  Questions, please call extension 230.  College Bound Scholarship2016(1).pdf

Rotary 4 Way Speech Contest

The Rotary 4 Way Speech Contest awards up to $5,000.00.  Students can access the application through the link or in Mrs. Norell's Office. Applications are due by Tuesday, January 26, 2016 to Mrs. Norell, local competition is scheduled for Tuesday, February 16, 2016. Click here for information regarding the contest.


Dan Stover Memorial Rotary Music Competition

This music competition is open to high school seniors who live or attend school in Glendora.  Students will perform using a musical instrument for a maximum eight minutes (minimum of four minutes).  Applications are due to Mrs. Norell's office no later than Wednesday, March 9, 2016.  The local contest will take place on March 25th, with additional competition levels occurring in April and May.  Grand prize is $5,000.00.  Click here for the application and see Mrs. Norell for more information.


ACSA Oratory Contest

Region XV of ACSA is holding a speech contest in the GHS Event Center on February 11, 2016 at 3:00pm.  The three minute speech will focus on "Connect, Collaborate, Cultivate".  Click here for more detailed information regarding the contest and please sign up in Mrs. Norell's Office by Friday, February 5, 2016 if interested.
