GHS Online Student Store


GHS is excited to announce the new online student store.  Click on the icon above (starting in September) where students and parents will be able to purchase student store merchandise, dance tickets, etc.  

GHS In Action


  • Each graduate will be issued eight [8] tickets on May.25th at Senior Check out.
  • Additional tickets may be purchased in the Student Store on May 25 beginning at 1:00 p.m.; May 29 from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. ; May 30 in the Student Store from 7:30- 3:30 and May 30 at Citrus Stadium beginning at 4:30 p.m. @ the Home Gate.
  • The gates open at 4:30 p.m.  Guests should arrive no later than 5:30 p.m.  The ceremony begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. and lasts approximately 1 hour.
  • Please allow sufficient time to enter the stadium and acquire seating before 6:00 p.m.
  • Guests are encouraged to utilize both north and south parking lot entrances.
  • Tickets for disabled seating may be obtained through Mr. Spengler's Office [ext. 235].  It is highly recommended that disabled guests enter the Home gate.
  • At the conclusion of the ceremony, parents are welcome to greet their graduate at the event area, west of the main field.
  • No balloons, signs, noisemakers, whistles or air horns will be allowed into the stadium.
  • Senior cap and gown panoramic photo will be taken during the commencement morning practice on May 30.  Cost is $25.00
  • Graduate Diploma Photo-  Photo will be taken on May 30 as the graduate receives his/her diploma crossing the stage.  The cost of this is based on your order.  All question regarding photos, please contact Lee Spengler's office at extension 235/236.
  • L and H Videographers-  Graduation DVD/Blu-Ray.  To order, click on the link below for the order form.   In addition, L and H Videographers will be stationed at each entrance to Citrus College Stadium on May 30.

Wednesday, May  23 will be the school-wide Yearbook Distribution Day   On this day, classes will conclude at 12:20, yearbooks will be distributed, food will be available for purchase, music will be playing and tables will be set up for yearbook signing! All students and staff are welcome.  Below is the schedule.

Period 1   8:05-9:20 

Nutrition   9:20-9:30 

Period 3   9:40-10:55 

Period 5   11:05-12:20 


If you haven’t purchased one and still want to, they can no longer be ordered presale; all remaining purchases must be made at yearbook distribution and/or through Mrs. Fallon in the yearbook room after May 23rd. The price is $130- CASH ONLY.  


Attention Tartan Seniors -   Jostens will be on campus Friday, May  25  from 10:00 a.m. - noon to distribute caps and gowns at Senior Check-Out in the Event Center.    If you have yet to purchase your cap and gown you can purchase on this day with cash or money order  $65.00.  No personal checks.

Important Reminders from GHS


Reminder for students and parents that GHS has a tutorial period available period from 8:05am until 8:30am for students to get extra help in their classes.  All students are expected to access the tutorial period if they are earning a "C" grade or below, have missed a portion or all of a class period or need extra assistance from their teacher.

ACSA Oratory Contest

Region XV of ACSA is holding a speech contest in the GHS Event Center on January 24, 2018 at 3:00pm.  The three minute speech will focus on "Your Song, Your Story, Your Voice for Leadership".  Click here for more detailed information regarding the contest and please sign up in Mrs. Norell's Office by Friday, January 19, 2018 if interested.


Rotary 4 Way Speech Contest

The Rotary 4 Way Speech Contest awards up to $5,000.00.  Students can access the application through the link or in Mrs. Norell's Office. Applications are due by Tuesday, February 6, 2018 to Mrs. Norell, local competition is scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Click here for information regarding the contest.


The Coca-Cola Scholarship

There is a wonderful opportunity for senior students to apply for a scholarship through Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation.  Click here for  more information and the application.  Deadline to apply is October 31, 2017 at 2:00pm (5:00pm EST).
