The German Club is, as the name implies, a club for those interested in German language and culture. No, we're not Nazis. Our advisor is Herr (or Mr., if you prefer) Hoffmeister, and we meet in room 130, typically every other Monday.
Many people join the German club because of our exchange program with the Christian von Dohm Gymnasium in Goslar. German club members meet, and can host, German exchange students who come here in April, then go visit them in Germany over the summer on a four-week trip that takes them to Goslar, Berlin, and many other interesting places in Germany. We have visited Munich on our past few trips but the itinerary may change.
It's true that we do a lot of fundraising for the trip, but we do plenty of fun stuff in German club, too! It's a great opportunity to have fun, hang out with friends, learn about a different culture, and maybe even go to Germany!
