Athletic Offerings

The academic eligibility of each student will be determined at the end of each grading period.

1. *Enrolled in and pass at least four classes of new work and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
2. The student was passing in the equivalent of at least 20 semester periods of work at the completion of the most recent last regular grading period.
3. Physical examination and medical insurance.
4. Meet CIF residency and academic requirements.
5. Purchase of ASB card is required to be eligible to receive letter and participation awards.
6. Have parents sign the eligibility requirements.
7. Students are required to attend at least three classes on the day of participation in any extracurricular activity.

*Only one of the four may be Physical Education. Repeat courses cannot be included in the four classes unless the "repeat" is due to a failure.

Credit

1. Any student entering their senior year still needing P.E. credit will be enrolled in a P.E. class unless they are participating in a sport in which they have previously earned at least 5.0 credits.
2. Athletic credit for a fall sport appears on the first semester report card. Credit for a winter or spring sport appears on the 2nd semester report card. A student has a maximum of one year to report athletic credit not granted. Additional information concerning athletics is available in the athletic office located in the administration building.
