The mission of the PTA is to support and speak on behalf of all children and youth in the schools, in the community and before governmental agencies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children; to assist parents in developing the skills they need to nurture children; and to promote parent and public involvement in schools and communities.

Parent involvement should not end when the student enters high school. For students, this is a crucial time - a time when it is important to have a well-informed parent available to assist them in dealing with pressures and decision making without stifling their growing sense of independence. New ways must be found to increase opportunities for parent involvement in high school.

PTA meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm at Glendora High School in the Media Center.
