A Message From
Principal, Mary Suzuki

Welcome to the 2006-2007 school year! Williams Elementary School is a California Distinguished School with a committed staff and faculty. We are here to support our students to achieve their highest level of success. Williams is fortunate to have a supportive PTA which provides a variety of activities and programs that nurture our students' development. Everyone at Williams is here to serve your child and your family.

It is inspiring to be a part of the Williams' community. As I observe our teachers preparing their classrooms for our students return, I am reminded daily of the gifted and committed teaching staff we have educating our students. Children are respectful and kind to each other at Williams. Our campus is extraordinary because our custodial staff consistently puts in extra effort to make Williams a place where children are safe. Whether a child visits the health office for a minor health issue or the front office as the attendance delivery person, he/she feels valued. Every member of our staff puts children first!

My primary goal as principal of Williams Elementary School is to continue to explore and implement effective programs to provide our children with the maximum opportunity to achieve academic success. Our children will be the future leaders of our community.

I look forward to working with you to continue to make Williams School a positive place for all students to learn and grow. This year we are focusing on a character trait each month. Our hope is that this practice will foster our students' understanding of the Williams School Code and assist them with positive character development. Please review the Williams School Code and handbook with your child.

Our PTA sends out a monthly newsletter with important information about upcoming events and interesting articles. Children are more successful in school when parents are actively involved. Please feel free to stop by the office and share your ideas and concerns with me at anytime. It is an honor to be at Williams School with all of you.

Sincerely,
Mary Suzuki - Principal
