AP/Honors Program Information

 
Glendora High School is proud to offer 22 Advanced Placement courses to over 600 students during the 2017-2018 school year.  During the 2018 AP Examination period, 600 GHS students took 1,342 exams.  Our teachers work hard to prepare our students for the rigor of the AP Exams and our students rise to this level of expectation.  For information regarding the GHS Honors/AP Program please contact Jamie Norell at (626) 963-5731 ext. 5555. 
 
AP Exam Registration Form
 

Click Here for the 2019 AP Exam Registration Form.  All students enrolled in an AP course must register and pay for their AP Exam between the dates of February 1st to March 1st in the GHS Testing Office.  You are able to pay online at the GHS Student Store or through the GHS Testing Office.  Online payments do incur a 3% service charge.

All students will be required to show a valid photo ID for admittance to testing and should not bring cell phones or test prep materials to their testing location.

 

Honors Placement Testing

Incoming 9th-grade students interested in taking World History Honors or English Language Arts Honors must participate in honors placement testing.  Students currently attending Goddard and Sandburg Middle School will test on Tuesday, March 6th and need to sign up with their counselor prior to Friday, March 2nd. 

Students coming to GHS from outside the GUSD who are interested in taking honors English or World History will need to test on either Wednesday, June 13th or Tuesday, June 26th at 2:00 pm.  All students new to GUSD must take the math placement exam.  Testing for math will take place Thursday, June 14th or Monday, June 25th at 2:00 pm.  All students entering GHS from outside the GUSD must take the math placement exams.  Students will meet in the GHS College and Career Center and should come prepared with a writing utensil and a photo ID.  Sign up for a testing date during your enrollment appointment or contact the counseling department at Glendora High School (626) 963-5731, extension 5570.
