AP/Honors Program Information

Glendora High School is proud to offer 25 Advanced Placement courses to over 590 students during the 2019-2020 school year.  During the 2019 AP Examination period, 540 GHS students took 1,269 exams.  Our teachers work hard to prepare our students for the rigor of the AP Exams and our students rise to this level of expectation.  For information regarding the GHS Honors/AP Program please contact Jamie Norell at (626) 963-5731 ext. 5555. 
AP Exam Payment Form

Click Here for the 2020-2021 AP Exam Payment Form.  All students enrolled in an AP course must pay for their AP Exam between the dates of September 21st to October 16th in either the GHS Testing Office or Student Store. Online payments do incur a 3% service charge.

All students will be required to show a valid photo ID for admittance to testing and should not bring cell phones or test prep materials to their testing location.

Honors Placement Testing

Incoming 9th-grade students interested in taking World History Honors or English Language Arts Honors must participate in honors placement testing.  Students currently attending Goddard and Sandburg Middle School will test on Monday, March 2nd and need to sign up with their counselor prior to Thursday, February 27th. 

Students coming to GHS from outside the GUSD who are interested in taking honors English or World History will need to test on either Wednesday, June 3th or Wednesday,  June 17th at 2:00 pm.  All students new to GUSD must take the math placement exam.  Testing for math will take place Thursday, June 4th or Thursday, June 25th at 2:00 pm.  All students entering GHS from outside the GUSD must take the math placement exams.  Students will meet in the GHS College and Career Center and should come prepared with a writing utensil and a photo ID.  Sign up for a testing date during your enrollment appointment or contact the counseling department at Glendora High School (626) 963-5731, extension 5570.
